THERM-Surface

For the measurement of absolute temperature of a surface.

The THERM-Surface is a very small thermistor designed to be adhered to walls and other surfaces as a component of heat flux measurement.
The adherence and small size enable accurate measurement.
The small size has almost no thermal mass resulting in measurements which are very responsive to temperature changes.
Rapid Time Response (200 milliseconds).

Cable: 5m, UV stabilised, black in colour, bare wire connections (2 conductors)
Thermistor Coating: Clear protective coating, extending approx. 10mm from thermistor to allow for adhesive
Resistance: 10kΩ @ 25°C

The THERM-Surface is similar to the THERM-MICRO, however the THERM-Surface features a clear coating, making it easier to affix to a wall evenly, with less chance of damaging the sensor.

This coating extends past the measurement point, allowing room for tape or other adhesive on either side of the thermistor.

The THERM-Surface was designed for use with the HFM1 Heat Flux Meter.
