Normally the MCC1 is used with the ICT Software to connect to an Instrument, configure the Instrument and download the data. However the MCC1 has other operating modes, one of which is the ICT Soft Logger. The Soft Logger mode is used to wirelessly connect to any ICT Instrument, and automatically download the data collected by the instrument, as soon as a measurement is taken.

Once the MCC1 is placed in Logging Mode you can use the ICT Soft Logger software to connect to any ICT wireless Instrument within range. You can select multiple Instruments to log, even if they are different types of instruments ...

    Switching on an ICT Instrument

There are two methods for switching ON and OFF an ICT Instrument. The recommended method is much easier and quicker, using the Power Supply to turn the Instrument ON, and the ICT software to turn it OFF, rather than using the pushbutton inside the instrument.

Screen Resolution for ICT Instrument Software

The ICT Instrument software is written to a fixed screen resolution of 857 x 660 dpi (it does not Auto Resize) and works best on current model laptops that have a screen size of 11.6" or larger and a default screen resolution of 1366 x 768 (the vertical height of 768 being most important otherwise you can't see the bottom of the software). There are many reasons for this but the end result is on small netbook's and some old laptops this causes the problem that the bottom 5 or 105 of the screen is cut off .

The only solution for netbooks smaller than this is to adjust your Display Properties Settings (right click on your desktop and choose properties) to 1366 x 768 or higher. Note you will need to close the Instrument software first before doing this to ensure the window resizes and displays correctly on the screen.
